বৈশিষ্ট্য

এটি একটি বহুবর্ষজীবী কন্দজাত উদ্ভিদ।
পাতাগুলো লম্বাটে ও সরু, সবুজ বর্ণের।
ফুলগুলো সাদা, নলাকার ও সুগন্ধি হয়।
ফুল ফোটার সময়ে সুগন্ধ অনেক দূর পর্যন্ত ছড়িয়ে পড়ে।
ফুলগুলো একাধিক কুঁড়ি একত্রে ডাঁটার ওপর গুচ্ছাকারে ফোটে।

ব্যবহার

সুগন্ধি ও সৌন্দর্যের কারণে ফুল সাজানোর কাজে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
মন্দির, বিয়ে ও নানা অনুষ্ঠানে মালা ও তোড়া বানাতে রজনীগন্ধার ব্যাপক ব্যবহার হয়।
সুগন্ধি ও পারফিউম তৈরিতেও এর নির্যাস ব্যবহৃত হয়।

চাষ

কন্দ রোপণ করে রজনীগন্ধা চাষ করা হয়।
বেলে দোআঁশ মাটি ও পর্যাপ্ত রোদযুক্ত জমি এর জন্য উপযুক্ত।
সাধারণত গ্রীষ্ম ও বর্ষাকালে চাষ করা হয়।

👉 রজনীগন্ধা ফুলের প্রধান আকর্ষণ হলো এর অনন্য সুগন্ধ, যা দিন ও রাত সমানভাবে ছড়িয়ে পড়ে।
