Plant Type: Madhabilata is a woody, perennial climbing vine (creeper). It grows vigorously and needs a support like a trellis, fence, pergola, or gate to climb on.

Leaves: The leaves are deep green, elliptical or oval-shaped, with a slightly rough texture. They grow opposite each other along the stem.

2. Flower Characteristics (The Most Unique Feature)

Color-Changing Nature: The most fascinating aspect of this flower is its ability to change color over time. When the flower first blooms in the evening, it is white. By the next morning, it fades into a delicate pink, and by afternoon or the following day, it turns into a deep, rich red or crimson.

Fragrance: The flowers have a very sweet, intoxicating fragrance that becomes much stronger and more prominent after sunset.

Shape: The flowers are tubular, star-shaped with five petals, and hang gracefully in dense, drooping clusters.

3. Blooming Season

Madhabilata blooms profusely during the summer and monsoon seasons. However, in tropical climates, it can continue to flower through autumn. Growth slows down, and blooming stops during the peak winter months.
